Hire Agreement

The hire charge is for a period agreed and is to be returned after each use for laundering. Hire charges are subject to change at any time without prior notice 

The customer is responsible for the return of the linen within the hire period. Failure to return linen, the customer will be charged the full replacement cost of the goods.

The customer will be notified of any damage to the hired linen. All linen remains the property of Shellbells Laundry Pty Ltd. Any items lost or damaged (other than through fair wear and tear) will be charged to the customer at the full replacement cost in force at the date of such loss or damage. Linen returned with makeup, spray tan, mud, pen, marker, grease or other permanent stains that cannot be removed by stain removal treatments, customer will be charged the full replacement cost of the goods as this is not considered fair wear and tear.

The customer will undertake separation of damp linen prior to packing it for return. Failure to do this may result in mildew forming on the damp linen. Should this occur, the customer will be charged for the extra laundering treatments required to return the goods to their original condition. The customer will be charged the full replacement cost of the goods if the mildew cannot be removed.

A delivery and collection service fee may be charged, and will be at a maximum of $1.00/km

Shellbells Laundry Pty Ltd offer multiple sizes and quantities of linen, customers requirements shall be met based on return rates of previously hired linen.

In the instance a customer chooses to no longer engage in hiring linen from Shellbells Laundry Pty Ltd, all linen in the customers possession must be returned within 28 days, customer will be charged the full replacement cost of the goods not returned within this period

For customers who do not have an account with Shellbells Laundry Pty Ltd., orders will be accepted strictly on the basis that full payment must be received prior to the goods being delivered or collected by the customer.

All quoted charges are exclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST).
